Education in proper terminology and functions of the eyes. Recognizing signs and symptoms of eye infections and irritations. How to prevent irritations during application and managing eye sensitivities. Recognizing different types of lash related allergies, preventing allergies, and protocol for managing a lash extension allergy.
Artist Edicate:
Learn how to professionally communicate with your clients and how to prepare for different workplace situations. Knowledge in client consultations and contraindications. Knowing when it is and isn’t okay to provide a service. Giving your professional recommendations to a client to maintain ideal expectations. Explaining proper pre-care and after-care.
Classic Fundamentals:
Knowledge in different curls, lengths, widths and how to create a damage free set per each unique client. Product knowledge and instructions for proper use.
Lash Mapping & Eye Shapes:
Learn to identify different eye shapes and features to create a style that suits your clients properly.
Application Theory:
Theory and practice with prep and properly lash application. Knowledge in different removal methods and refill procedures. Maintaining isolation and maximizing retention through proper application.
Sanitation:
Maintaining a safe and sanitary environment in the workplace. Proper precautions to take when coming in contact with infections & other forms of pathogenic bacteria. State required procedures for disinfecting tools, workstation, & self.
The business:
Knowledge in what steps to take after your course is over such as getting hired in a salon as a new artist or starting your own business. Understanding responsibilities as an artist with legal and state requirements. Starting up and running your own business with knowledge in having a website, creating policies, time management, etc.
Social Media & Marketing:
How to build a portfolio and platform to gain clients as a new artist. Tips & tricks on different techniques to market to potential customers. The benefits of using social media to build your brand.
Photography & Editing:
Learn how to use your camera to your advantage and make the most out of your lash portfolio. Proper editing techniques that make your photos esthetically pleasing to the consumer.

Theory and practice with proper pick up and creation of volume lash fans. Knowledge in proper weights and ratios of a volume fan and how to safely wrap and apply to the natural lashes. The anatomy of a volume fan, identifying fans that are ideal and not ideal, 4 different fan making techniques, and 3 different crystallizing techniques. Pros and cons of premade vs. promade fans.
History of Volume Lashing:
Theory on the different phases of the lashing world. Where lashes came from, what they’re made of and the creators of the volume technique.
Lash Design & Eye Shapes:
Review on eye shapes and features and knowledge on face shapes. Understanding how to identify features unique to each client and create an advanced style that properly compliments their features. Knowledge with advanced lash maps such as wispy, strip lash, perfect line, texture, & feathered sets.
Adhesive Knowledge:
How to safely use and care for your adhesive. Maximizing your retention for every client and choosing the right glue based on your environment.

The difference between regular volume and mega volume lashing. How to create mega fans, crystalize, & promake with proper weights and ratios per natural lash.
Advanced Styling:
Taking your lash maps to the ultimate level. How to customize a map suitable for your client but also standing out from other artists. Knowledge with techniques such as transitioning curls and lengths to create a seamless looking set. Specialty curls and how to use them. Illusions that you can create to the eye with different curls and styles. Correcting eye features with different styling techniques.
Advanced Lash Mapping:
Creating wispy and strip lash sets with different “spike” techniques. Knowledge with texture, feathered, and the eyeliner look. Intentional wisp vs. messy sets.
Facial Study & Correction:
Identifying different features of the face and eyes that need correction through mapping and styling to balance out and enhance each client.
Advanced Adhesive Knowledge:
Deeply understanding the use of our chemicals. What they do and the effects they have in our environment day to day. Factors that may be preventing our adhesive from performing at it’s best.
Speed Lashing:
Learn isolation and taping tips and tricks to speed up your lash application. Cut down on set and refill times while getting more lashes on.
Advanced Allergy Knowledge:
Advanced knowledge with different types of lash allergies and ingredients in our products that can cause a reaction. Methods for sensitive clients and preventing allergies in future situations.
Colored Lash Design:
Knowledge in different colored design placement and how to map out your set to create different designs.
Hair Texture Knowledge:
Anatomy of the hair and knowledge on different types of hair growth patterns and hair textures. The effects of applying extensions to each type of hair type and achieving good retention for each type of lash.
Levels of Damage:
Identify the levels of lash damage and methods to rehabilitate the natural lashes. Understanding follicle damage vs. temporary damage.

Learn the 2 different mapping techniques and how to perfect your clients brow shape using your tools to your advantage.
Brow Damage:
Identify the different levels of brow damage and how to rehabilitate the hairs. Identify the different types to be able to make proper styling recommendations.
Hair Depilation Methods:
Knowledge and practice using wax and thread to style the brows. Learn the 3 different methods to create your thread and the 2 different types and techniques with wax.
Hair Coloring Methods:
Learn how to use and apply brow henna and tint. Knowledge on the difference between the two and how to identify when to use either product. Advanced theory in techniques such as classic, watercolor, ombre, and feathered technique.
Face Shapes:
Theory to identify each of the 6 face shapes and how to create a shape best suited per clients unique face.
