About Us

My career started in 2018 when I enrolled in my first classic lash course! Soon after starting up my new found career, I enrolled in Catherine Hinds to become an esthetician. In school I learned in-depth knowledge of the skin and body and how it works, to be able to properly provide treatments to clients. While in school I also got the opportunity to practice lashing on my fellow classmates and outside of school on friends, family, and eventually clients! 

After I completed my program I started working from home doing lashes, facials, waxing, and makeup slowly building my clientele. In early 2019 I decided to take my first volume lash course. After taking my course, shortly after I started working a second job at a Spa offering lash extensions, lash lifts, and waxing. Working there I was able to gain experience practicing my skills on all different types of clients. On days where I didn’t have clients I would sit in my lash room and practice making volume fans all day. I am thankful for this experience because it made my skills sharper and my time faster as an artist. 

Middle of 2019 I decided to venture out on my own and open my own place. In April of 2019 I left my job at the spa, and started the journey to opening my own place. By June I opened Glitz Beauty Bar. A few months later I took another lash course and got double certified again in classic and volume. Since then I have grown my clientele and worked on hundreds of different clients from lashing to brows and created so many bonds with amazing people. 

In early 2020 I took an educators course with NALA (National Lash Artist Association) and became a certified educator. Later on applied for my state test to become a Licensed Instructor. Within my course I learned how to educate students through all different learning styles and techniques. Following that I have created my own programs and manuals in classic, volume, mega volume & brow artistry, and have taught several different courses, group and private since then. 

At the end of 2020 I became certified in Microblading and Shading. 2021 I became certified in Combo / Ombré Powder Brow Technique and Saline Tattoo Removal. I have also acquired my BBP, CPR, & First Aid Certificates to be able to obtain my BAE (Body Art Establishment) & BAP (Body Art Practitioner) License! I have been preforming my new found passion along with taking clients lashing!

Since then from 2021-2022 I have taken other classes and workshops from some of the leading artists in my industry such as Lash Makers, Glitz Lash Studio, Maven Artistry, Girlz Ink, Brow Tricks, Shay Daniels, Tina Davies, etc. My passion for education allows me to continuously grow myself as an artist, owner, and educator. Always aiming to provide the highest quality services and education program with the extensive knowledge and skill I hold in my field. It brings me joy to share my knowledge with my current and future students to help them start up their careers and obtain their goals. I continue to further my career and love for the industry by expanding my knowledge for my clients & students.
